WHY SEALCOAT?

Future Sealcoating’s owner and chief operator, Tom Stanley, grew up in the asphalt industry and has over 40 years of on-the-job experience. Along with his knowledgeable and friendly crew, Tom is devoted to the complete satisfaction of his customers – a satisfied customer is a repeat customer!

Future Sealcoating has instilled faith in countless clients about the value of maintaining and protecting your pavement through sealcoating.

· Sealcoating enhances pavement appearance and eases maintenance.

Your driveway is one of the first things a guest sees when visiting. Sealcoating restores the rich slate black color of the original pavement, making it look and wear like new. Because sealer fills surface voids, a sealcoated driveway is much smoother. A smoother surface is easier to sweep, wash, and shovel – which is always appreciated with our Northeast winters!

· Sealcoating seals out water.

Once water enters the pavement it slowly destroys it by expanding and contracting during freeze/thaw cycles. Small defects open up admitting more water, causing more damage. Larger defects join together forming cracks. Cracks can cluster creating potholes. Sealcoating seals the small defects and stops the cycle. Larger existing cracks are filled with hot-rubberized crack sealant.

· Sealcoating prevents gas and oil damage.

The high quality sealant and rubberized additive formula used by Future Sealcoating Company is formulated to reduce gas and oil damage much better than bare asphalt.

· Sealcoating prevents oxidation.

Your skin isn’t the only thing that needs protection from the sun’s harmful UV rays! They can also damage your driveway or parking lot by hardening and drying out asphalt surfaces, accelerating cracking and erosion. Regularly applied sealcoat helps to prevent UV rays from penetrating the pavement, protecting it and ensuring it will look beautiful for years to come!

remember that sealcoating costs only pennies a square foot compared to the dollars needed to replace damaged asphalt!
